Terms & conditions

This site is controlled and operated by GlaxoSmithKline UK Limited (GSK) of 980 Great West Road, Brentford, Middlesex, TW8 9GS.

By using this website, including when making any purchase of products hereunder, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. GSK reserves the right to update and/or amend these terms and conditions from time to time, so you are advised to check them regularly. In respect of any order for the purchase of products, that order will be governed by the terms and conditions in place at the date of that order (subject to any subsequent amendments required by law).

Purchase of products

Purchase

Once you have found the product(s) you are interested in, select the number of products you wish to purchase and click 'Add'. The Shopping Basket page will display details of all products you have added to your Shopping Basket in this visit.

From your Shopping Basket, you may either continue shopping or proceed to purchasing the contents of the Shopping Basket.

To purchase your Shopping Basket, click on the 'Checkout' button and you will be transferred to the Checkout page, which will display the value of the products in your Shopping Basket and the postage price. Select the country where your order will be delivered to display the correct postage and carriage cost. For orders with a delivery address within Great Britain, orders below the value of £13.50 will be charged postage at £4.99; orders of £13.50 or over will not incur an additional postage charge. For orders with a delivery address other than in Great Britain, the cost of carriage will be calculated on the weight of the entire order. Any orders made in case quantities will be subject to a 10% discount. GSK reserves the right not to accept any order of over £1,000.

You will be asked to select a credit card from which payment will be taken and to submit your credit card information to our secure server. All products are available for purchase using either Mastercard, Visa, Visa Delta, Visa Electron, Visa Purchasing, Switch or Solo. All delivery timings are estimates only.

Once you are happy with the details that you have provided, you can confirm your order by clicking the 'Make payment' button. This will create your order, which will be communicated to GSK. You will receive an email from GSK confirming receipt of your order; however, orders will not be accepted until delivery is made by GSK. If you order from the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland your email from GSK will also include a delivery date together with information about how you can track your order. Whether you order from the United Kingdom or the Republic of Ireland it is your responsibility that someone is available at the delivery address to accept, via signature, receipt of the products. This signatory does not have to be the same person as the name provided on the delivery package.

Our contract

On submission of an order, you will receive an email from GSK confirming receipt of your order. This confirmation will include details of the products ordered and the estimated delivery time. Your order will constitute an offer to GSK to purchase the products in question; we will transfer your payment on receipt of the order, although if we are unable for any reason to process delivery of the order we will give you a full refund for the undelivered products. GSK will not be deemed to have accepted your order, and a contract will not be formed, until your products have been dispatched to your delivery address. Where we have dispatched only some of the products contained in an order, the order for the remaining un-dispatched products will not be deemed accepted until they themselves are dispatched.

You agree that communications between you and GSK will be made by email or other electronic means, and you consent to receive all communications from GSK in an electronic format. By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you agree that you have elected to enter any agreement for the purchase of products electronically and to receive any required communications, notices or updates in an electronic format.

Without in any way limiting our liability for death and/or personal injury caused by our negligence or breach of duty, GSK will not be liable for any direct, indirect or consequential loss. Without limiting your statutory rights, GSK will not be held liable for any failure to fulfil our obligations hereunder caused by events beyond our reasonable control. No failure by GSK to enforce a right hereunder will be deemed a waiver of that right.

Any condition or term herein deemed for any reason invalid or legally unenforceable will be deemed severable from these terms and conditions and will not affect the enforceability of the remaining terms and conditions. These terms and conditions and the content of this site as well as any dispute of any sort that might arise between you and GSK, without regard to principles of conflict of laws, shall be governed by English law, and you hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.

Returns

Cancellations

Without affecting your rights as set out in the paragraph on Defective Products (below), you may cancel your order at any time prior to expiry of 7 days following the actual date of delivery of any ordered products by writing to us at lucozadeshop@custservices.co.uk or calling us on 01452 632523 (for international callers, dial: 0044 452 632523) between 08:30 and 16:30 Monday - Friday, indicating any reason for the return. Where you so cancel your order after we have dispatched the products, you will at your own expense return the ordered products to us, unopened and in as good a condition as when received by you, by returning the products to us at POSM, Wincanton for GSK, Golf Club Lane, Gloucester Business Park, Brockworth, Gloucester, GL3 4AJ, England. You will receive a full refund credited to your payment card in respect of any validly cancelled order within 30 days.
Return of Defective Products

We will only accept the return of, and refund, opened products where they are Defective Products as described in the following paragraph.

A product is defective where the products content does not otherwise match the description of the product ordered (Defective Product).

In the event of receiving a Defective Product please immediately contact the Consumer Relations Manager on 0800 096 3666 (For international callers, dial: 0044 800 096 3666). You will be asked to return the Defective Product using GSK's Business Reply Service (BRS) and be able to either request the issue of a replacement product or cancel the order. Where you choose to cancel the order you will receive a full refund credited to your payment card.
Products Delivered in Error

Where products are delivered in error (damaged, wrong quantity etc.) please contact us immediately at lucozadeshop@custservices.co.uk or call us on: 01452 632523 (for international callers, dial: 0044 452 632523) between 08:30 and 16:30 Monday - Friday and arrangements shall be made with you for their collection and replacement or for their return to us using GSK's BRS. Where any valid claim relating to products delivered in error is notified to us, GSK shall either replace the goods free of charge or offer you a full refund.

Availability/Prices

Where products are unavailable for purchase, this will be marked on the relevant product information page. However, the availability of a product cannot be guaranteed by its availability being shown on the relevant product information page. Despite our best efforts to keep the pages as up-to-date as possible, the availability of a product may alter in advance of the information on the relevant product information page being updated; this may lead to GSK being unable to accept an order. In these circumstances - subject to cancellation by you, which you are free to do at any time prior to seven days following delivery by GSK - GSK will keep your order open until fresh stocks of the product are received. GSK will inform you by email if it is unable to process, or otherwise accept, your order within 30 days of the date of your order, in which case you will be given the option either of being reimbursed the value of your order or of resubmitting or substituting your order.

Occasionally, despite our best efforts, there may be an error in the price attributed to a product on the relevant product information page. In these circumstances, we will charge the lower of the actual price and the price indicated on the product information page. Prices are displayed throughout the website in both GBP (pounds sterling) and in Euros. The Euro price displayed on the product pages is offered as a guide only; all transactions in the Lucozade Sport Shop are made in GBP (pounds sterling). For orders with a billing address in the Republic of Ireland, your credit card company will convert the GBP price to Euros on your credit card statement.

Children

If you are under 16, you should only purchase products through this website with the permission and involvement of a parent or guardian.

No warranty

This site is controlled and operated by GSK from its offices in the UK. GSK makes no representation that material in the site is appropriate or available for use in other locations. Those who choose to access this site from other locations do so on their own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws, if and to the extent that local laws are applicable.

GSK uses reasonable efforts to update the lucozadesportshop.co.uk site ('the Site'), but makes no representation or warranty in respect of accuracy or lack of errors.

Use of the Site is at the risk of the user. GSK takes no responsibility for direct, indirect or consequential loss from use of the Site and all implied warranties are excluded to the extent permissible under English law.

GSK accepts no liability for viruses infecting the user following its use of the audio, video, data or text on the site.
